Wilibrord's History Chat Sites

Welcome to Wilibrord's History Chat Sites. Here you will find links to a galaxy of places on the Web where historians, students, and others gather to discuss and debate history. Whether general history chat sites, or those of a specific nature, there are many to choose from. Basically, there are two kinds of chat sites available. Web-based chat servers usually need only your handle to let you in, though some places ask you to register before beginning. Internet Relay Chat (IRC) sites will require either a JAVA- enabled browser, or a download from the chat-site. Check them all out. You may find just the historical discussion you are searching for.

A Disclaimer: I am not responsible for the mindset behind the sites listed, nor the content of the discussions you will find there. Oftentimes the atmosphere of a room is what you bring with you. Courtesy goes a very long way. See you in the chats!
